The Area

You will find Borgloon in South Limburg which is in the east of Belgium at about 80 Kilometres from Brussels and 25 Kilometres from Maastricht. You will find yourself in the garden of Belgium, a fabulous area especially in spring time when the fruit trees blossom.

At 10 Kilometres, you will find Tongeren which is the oldest city in Belgium (over 2000 years old) every stone from every building breaths history and archaeology.

The area is very diverse.
Only 30 Kilometres northbound are de Kempen where nature is marked by heath, moor, peat and pine trees.

40 Kilometres east and you are in Aachen (Germany), a city with even more history than our own Tongeren.

Brussels, the capital from Belgium is situated west from Borgloon and less than an hour by car.
